About

Dr Jordan is a consultant heart specialist based at Poole Hospital and the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, offering expert clinical diagnosis and treatment at your convenience.

Private patients can be seen at Nuffield Health Bournemouth, BMI The Harbour Hospital or Dorset Heart Clinic.

EXPERIENCE

Trained at Oxford University, Dr Jordan completed junior doctor training in the Oxford area and in London, including at the Royal Brompton Hospital. He moved to Dorset to practice cardiology, living with his young family in Wimborne.

He has particular subspecialty expertise in non-invasive diagnosis, high blood pressure, pacemakers and pregnancy and his continuing academic work has led to first author publications in major peer-reviewed journals, including “Circulation” and “Journal of Human Hypertension”.
Dr Jordan is the Operational Lead for Cardiology at Poole Hospital. He is also Lead for Education in Cardiology at University Hospitals Dorset.
